The European section is a way of increasing our selling skills in English, obtaining a Europass and having it mentioned on our A level diploma.


Particularity of the instruction at High SchoolPaul Langevin


In Paul Langevin High School, cultural exchanges and activities are organized with the aim of providing students with a deep knowledge and understanding of another culture citing the internship carried out in Ireland as well as the Comenius project which consists of welcoming students from other countries.


Who is the course aimed at ?


The European Section is open to all students who wish to deepen their knowledge of the English language and who are prepared to carry out an internship in an English speaking country.


Requirements for the A level


To have the European Section on the diploma will necessitate the results below :

• The candidate must obtain a minimum result of 12 /20 in the foreign language examination
• The candidate must have 10 /20 in a specific examination which aims to assess the work carried out in the European Section programme.

La section européenne est un moyen d’approfondir ses techniques de vente en anglais, d’obtenir un Europass et d’avoir une mention section européenne sur le diplôme du baccalauréat.


Particularités des enseignements


Au lycée Paul Langevin, des activités culturelles et d’échanges sont organisées, visant à faire acquérir aux élèves une connaissance approfondie de la culture comme le stage effectué en Irlande et le projet « Comenius » qui consiste à accueillir des élèves venant d’autres pays d’Europe.


A qui est-elle destinée ?


La section européenne est ouverte à des élèves volontaires pour approfondir leur anglais et prêts à partir faire un stage dans un pays anglophone.
Particularité du Baccalauréat
L’indication de la mention section européenne sur le diplôme dépend des résultats obtenus par le candidat :

• Il doit avoir obtenu au moins 12/20 à l’épreuve de langue vivante.
